Mezzo-soprano Ashley Prince is from Buena Vista, Virginia, and has always been passionate about solo and choral repertoire. She obtained the Bachelor of Arts in Music from Southern Virginia University in May of 2022, and is currently working toward her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance at East Carolina University.
While at Southern Virginia University, she sang in the regionally acclaimed university ensemble Chamber Singers for all four years as an alto. As a soloist, she was heard in performances of Vivaldi’s “Gloria” and the Kyrie from Haydn’s “Lord Nelson Mass”.
