Elizabeth Loparits, Pianist

Elizabeth Loparits is an active performer and educator, currently serving as Lecturer and Collaborative Pianist at the University of North Carolina Wilmington; pianist and coach with Opera Wilmington; and a pianist/organist at St. Stanislaus Church. 

Elizabeth has given solo and duo piano recitals in Hungary, Costa Rica, and the United States. Recent solo performances include the UNCW Piano Masterworks Series, Rush Hour Concerts, Lumina Festival, Kenan Chapel Recital Series, as well as with the Wilmington Symphony and Opera Wilmington Orchestras. As a chamber musician, she recently performed at the Southern Exposure New Music Series, the North American Saxophone Alliance Conference, the University of Miami, Chicago College of Performing Arts, the Ronald Sachs International Music Competition, and collaborating at a competition winner’s recital at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall. 

With pianist Phillip Bush, she recently performed the world premiere of Meira Warshauer’s Ocean Calling Trilogy for Two Pianos (2022) a work they subsequently recorded with Navona Records

Elizabeth holds a Chamber Music Artist Diploma and Music Education degree from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Pécs, Hungary, a MM in piano performance from Illinois State University, and a DMA in piano performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
