Harriet Smith is excited to be a founding board member Wilmington Voices. Having moved from Charlotte, NC in 2011, she has been a life-long member of church and community choruses. Harriet’s true musical passion is choral and Opera music! In her spare time, she loves to travel, listen to music, and visit unique libraries to find great treasures.

Harriet is no stranger to serving on boards as she served eight years as the Chair of the North Carolina Library Commission, three years on the New Hanover Country Library Advisory Board, and numerous years as a board member of the Charlotte Ballet Company.
