Ian Olsen, tenor, has lived in many places from his home town of Stillwater, Minnesota to southern California, the white sand beaches of the US Virgin Islands and the mountains of Colorado before arriving in Wilmington in 2020 with his wife and young daughter.
Ian graduated from The Boston Conservatory of Music in 2008 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance where he studied under both Dr. Thomas Gregg and Dr. Patty Thomm.
Ian was most notably seen in performances as Snout in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and was the featured soloist in the Saint Nicolas cantata. Most recently Ian made his Wilmington debut with Cape Fear Chorale singing tenor solos from Berstein’s “Mass”.
