Maeve Lee, Soprano, is a Raleigh native that moved to Wilmington in 2017. She currently sings alto with Wilmington Voices. She graduated with a BM in Music Education from East Carolina University and was awarded Outstanding Senior in Choral Music Education. She was a music teacher for 6 years, and currently teaches private piano and ukulele on the side.
At ECU she studied voice with Grammy®-nominated soprano Kathryn Mueller and performed with the prestigious ECU Chamber Singers. More recently she can be heard singing at the Basilica Shrine of St. Mary, and St. Mark Catholic Church in Wilmington. She has performed with the Carolina Liturgical Chorale, and sings in Carolina Choral Artists across eastern NC.
She developed her love for choral music in elementary school, attending the North Carolina Honors Chorus from fourth to eighth grade. She also attended the Governor’s School of North Carolina in 2012 for Choral Music. Her music and chorus teachers in school are what led her to become a music teacher.
Maeve enjoys spending her free time with her husband Andrew, and their son, James.
