Mary Tyndall, Mezzo Soprano

Mary Tyndall is a graduate of East Carolina University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree and Master's Degree in Music Education, concentrating in voice. She is a recently retired music educator from New Hanover County Schools.

Mary has worked with local performance groups including Thalian Association, Opera House Theater Company, and Two Peas in a Pod Productions. Some of her favorite performances include Brigadoon (Fiona), Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel), and 1776 (Abigail Adams). She recently performed in the ensemble of Tosca with Opera Wilmington, where she currently serves on the board as recording secretary.

She volunteers with the children’s music program and is the Social Media/Website Coordinator at her church, Grace United Methodist.

She is an avid animal lover and concert goer. She and her husband, Cliff, live in Wilmington with their felines.
