Mary Tyndall is a graduate of East Carolina University where she earned a BM Degree in Music Education and a Masters in Music Education, concentrating in voice. She is beginning her 33rd year of teaching and is currently the music teacher at Codington Elementary School in Wilmington, North Carolina.
In her role as an elementary music educator her students have consistently participated in the NC Elementary Honors Chorus. Mary has taught Music Appreciation as an adjunct instructor at Bladen Community College for the past 8 years. She is the Social Media/Website Coordinator at her church, Grace United Methodist.
Mary has worked with local performance groups throughout the last 30 years. She has performed in various productions with local theater companies: Thalian Association, Opera House Theater Company, and Two Peas in a Pod Productions. She recently performed in the ensemble of The Magic Flute with Opera Wilmington, where she currently serves on the board as recording secretary.
She is an avid animal lover and concert goer. She and her husband, Cliff, live in Wilmington with their felines.
