Sarah Abushakra, Alto, is a pianist, teacher and choral director living in Myrtle Beach, SC. Sarah joined the music faculty at Coastal Carolina University in 2014 where she teaches applied piano lessons, class piano, and piano pedagogy. She also serves as Director of Music at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Conway where she directs the chancel and children’s choirs and plays organ and piano.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Coastal Carolina University and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Georgia. Sarah is passionate about helping her students build lifelong skills through music. She believes deeply in the transformative power of collaborative music-making and the positive impact it makes on the world.
