Since graduating from James Madison University with a degree in Music Education, Steve Hassmer has performed all over the world on cruise ships (Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruise lines, Ray Kennedy Productions) and across country (48 states…only two to go!). Following an eight year hiatus in which his wife graduated dental school and he became a dad, he returned to performing. Recently, he has been a regular at the Mac-Haydn Theatre in NY and with the Berkshire Opera Festival. Recent credits: Joe Boyd (Damn Yankees), Mamma Mia (Harry), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Andre), Sweeney Todd (Judge Turpin), South Pacific (Emile de Becque) and My Fair Lady (Col. Pickering) at the Mac-Haydn Theatre, Some People Hear Thunder (World Premiere) at CapRep in Albany, Madama Butterfly and Rigoletto with Berkshire Opera Festival.
